Privacy Policy
Last Updated: June 23, 2026
1. Introduction
ClaimsBoost.com ("ClaimsBoost," "we," "us," or "our") operates a marketing platform, paid by participating law firms, that matches individuals seeking benefits with a participating law firm. ClaimsBoost is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at claimsboost.com (the "Site") or use our services, including our AI-powered features.
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the Site.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Personal Information You Provide
We may collect personally identifiable information that you voluntarily provide when using our Site. This includes your name and contact information such as email address and phone number. We also collect details about your benefits status, disability, or injury, location information including city, state, and zip code, and any other information you choose to provide through our forms or AI-powered tools.
2.2 Information Collected Through Our AI Features
When you interact with our AI-powered benefits-eligibility screener and voice or text assistant, we collect the information you provide to check your eligibility and match you with a participating law firm. This may include:
- Descriptions of your injury, disability, or claim
- Details about your benefits status and medical treatment
- Your state and other location information
- Responses to questions posed by our AI assistant
This information is used to determine your eligibility, match you with one participating law firm, and connect you with that firm for your free benefits review.
2.3 Automatically Collected Information
When you visit our Site, we may automatically collect certain information. This includes:
- Your IP address and device identifiers
- Browser type and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on the Site
- Referring website or source
- Geographic location based on IP address
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for several purposes:
- Match you with a participating law firm that may be able to assist with your legal matter
- Check your benefits eligibility and provide other informational resources
- Communicate with you about your benefits review and your match with a participating law firm
- Improve and optimize our Site and services, including training and improving our AI algorithms
- Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud and unauthorized activity
3.1 Use of Information for AI Processing
Information you provide through our AI-powered features is processed by machine learning algorithms to determine your benefits eligibility and route you to a participating law firm. This processing may involve:
- Evaluating your inputs against eligibility criteria
- Identifying relevant factors in your claim description
- Matching you with a participating law firm that handles your type of claim
The AI system does not store your information in a way that creates attorney-client privilege, and your inputs may be used in aggregated and anonymized form to improve our AI algorithms.
4. Calls, Texts & How We Contact You
When you provide your phone number — by entering it and verifying it with the one-time code we text you, or by telling us on a recorded call — you provide your electronic signature and give your express written consent to be contacted about your claim by ClaimsBoost at the number you provide, including by autodialed and prerecorded or AI-generated calls and texts, and on a recorded line, even if your number is on a Do Not Call registry. ClaimsBoost is the sender of these messages.
- Consent is not a condition of any service
- ClaimsBoost's text messages are coordination messages — for example, to confirm your consultation, to reconnect you if a call drops, and to ask qualifying questions such as your state
- Message frequency varies depending on your interactions with us; message and data rates may apply
- Reply STOP to opt out at any time (or ask to be removed); reply HELP for assistance
- Your mobile number and your text-messaging opt-in and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and are never sold or transferred to lead generators. Your text-messaging opt-in and consent are never shared with any third party, including the matched law firm. When you ask us to connect you to a law firm, we share your contact details — including your mobile number — with that one matched firm to fulfill the connection you requested. Apart from that, we share your mobile number only with our own service providers (such as our telephony and messaging vendor, Twilio) who operate the service on our behalf. We will never sell or share your mobile number with any telemarketer or marketing agency
Your call with ClaimsBoost is recorded from the start. When we connect you through a live warm transfer to your matched law firm, an employee of that firm joins you on that same recorded call to speak with you about your claim. On that call, the firm's employee gathers the firm's own consent to contact you directly on that call; that consent belongs to the firm, not to ClaimsBoost.
If you retain a law firm we match you with, your communications with that firm are governed by your agreement with that firm (see our Terms).
5. How We Share Your Information
5.1 We Do Not Sell Your Information; Sharing With the One Matched Firm
ClaimsBoost does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, does not share it with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes, and does not sell or transfer it to lead generators or list brokers. When you ask us to connect you and we complete a live warm transfer to the one matched law firm, we send your information — including your name, contact information (including your mobile phone number), and claim details — to that one firm. This sharing is fulfillment of the connection you requested; it is not marketing, not promotional, and not lead generation or list selling. We share your information only with that one matched firm, and only to make and complete that connection. By asking us to connect you, you consent to ClaimsBoost sharing your information with that one matched firm. Your text-messaging opt-in and consent are not part of that sharing and are never disclosed to the matched firm or any other third party. The matched firm is an independent law firm and not an employee of ClaimsBoost; once you are connected, that firm's own privacy practices and professional obligations then govern its use of your information.
5.2 Service Providers
We work with third-party companies that help us operate our Site and provide services. These service providers include:
- Web hosting providers
- Analytics services such as Google Analytics
- Telephony and messaging providers, such as Twilio, that place our calls and send our text messages on our behalf
- AI and machine learning service providers that help power our voice and messaging assistant, eligibility screening, and matching features
These service providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify.
5.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities such as a court or government agency. We may also disclose information to protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of others.
5.4 Business Transfers
If ClaimsBoost is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
5.5 Sharing for AI Improvement
We may use your information in aggregated, de-identified, and anonymized form to improve our AI algorithms and services. This aggregated data does not identify you personally and cannot be used to identify you.
6. AI-Specific Privacy Considerations
6.1 No Attorney-Client Privilege
Information you provide to our AI tools is not protected by attorney-client privilege. You should not include highly sensitive medical details, confidential information, or personally identifiable information beyond what is requested to check your eligibility and connect you with a law firm. AI-generated responses are not confidential communications with an attorney.
6.2 Data Used for AI Training
We may use information collected through our AI features, in aggregated and anonymized form, to train and improve our machine learning models. Individual case details are not shared in identifiable form, but patterns and trends from aggregated data may be used to enhance the accuracy of our AI tools.
6.3 AI Limitations and Accuracy
Our AI tools may generate inaccurate or incomplete information. We make no guarantees about the accuracy of eligibility information or other AI-produced content, and an eligibility result is not a determination that you qualify for benefits or that any firm will take your case. You should independently verify any information provided by our AI tools with a qualified attorney.
7. Your Privacy Rights
7.1 Rights Under State Privacy Laws
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, or other states with privacy laws, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to Know: You can request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources from which we collected it, the purposes for which we use it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to Delete: You can request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions under applicable law.
- Right to Correct: You can request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to Opt-Out: You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising purposes by enabling a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser or by emailing privacy@claimsboost.com.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.
7.2 Exercising Your Rights
To exercise these rights, please contact us at privacy@claimsboost.com. We will respond to your request within 45 days as required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, subject to verification requirements.
7.3 Opt-Out of Our Communications
ClaimsBoost's messages to you are coordination messages about your inquiry or claim, for example to confirm your consultation, to reconnect you if a call drops, or to ask qualifying questions such as your state, not promotional or marketing messages. You can opt out of our text messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message (or by asking to be removed on any call). If we send you any email, you can opt out by following the unsubscribe instructions in that email.
8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect information about your browsing activities. These technologies help us:
- Remember your preferences
- Understand how you use our Site
- Deliver targeted advertising
- Analyze Site traffic and trends
Cookies are small data files stored on your device. We use both session cookies, which expire when you close your browser, and persistent cookies, which remain on your device until deleted or expired. You can control cookies through your browser settings. However, disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our Site, including the performance of our AI tools.
8.1 Third-Party Analytics
We use Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use our Site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information about your use of the Site, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on pages. This information is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. You can learn more about how Google uses data at Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
8.2 Advertising and Tracking
We may work with third-party advertising partners who use cookies and similar technologies to deliver targeted advertisements based on your browsing activities. These partners may collect information about your visits to our Site and other websites to provide advertisements about goods and services that may interest you. Your mobile phone number and your text-messaging opt-in and consent are never shared with these advertising partners or used for targeted advertising. You can opt out of targeted advertising through industry opt-out tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out page or the Network Advertising Initiative's opt-out page.
9. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest
- Regular security assessments and audits
- Access controls and authentication requirements
- Employee training on data protection practices
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, please immediately notify us at privacy@claimsboost.com.
10. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Our retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the purposes for which we use it.
Generally, we retain:
- Contact information and case details for up to seven years after your last interaction with us
- AI interaction data in aggregated and anonymized form indefinitely for algorithm improvement
- Your communication and opt-out preferences (such as a STOP request) until you opt out or we no longer have a business need for the information
When we no longer need your information, we will securely delete or anonymize it in accordance with our data retention policies and applicable law.
11. Children's Privacy
Our Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@claimsboost.com. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information.
12. Third-Party Links
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites, including websites of participating law firms, legal resources, and other external content. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external sites. These third-party websites have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected by ClaimsBoost through our Site.
13. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from the laws of your country. By using our Site, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and other countries. We take steps to ensure that your information receives an adequate level of protection in the jurisdictions in which we process it.
14. California-Specific Disclosures
14.1 California Shine the Light Law
California residents may request information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please contact us at privacy@claimsboost.com.
14.2 California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
Under the CCPA, California residents have specific rights regarding their personal information as described in Section 7 of this Privacy Policy. In the past 12 months, we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 2 of this Privacy Policy. We collect this information for the business purposes described in Section 3. We share personal information with the categories of third parties described in Section 5.
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal case information, and we never share it with third parties for their own marketing — your case information goes only to the one law firm we match you with, through the ClaimsBoost platform. Separately, like many websites, we use advertising and analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) that may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of online identifiers under California law. You can opt out of that cookie-based activity by enabling a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser or by emailing privacy@claimsboost.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share."
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
For material changes, we may also provide notice through email or a prominent notice on our Site. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we collect, use, and protect your information. Your continued use of the Site after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
